WHY WE EXIST?
Eighty percent of women+ experience hormonal health challenges at some point in their lives. PCOS, endometriosis, periods that take you out for days, and the perimenopausal reality of feeling like your body has changed in ways you don't recognize.

If you're here, you might be exhausted in a way that sleep doesn't fix. You might be wondering why life's demands suddenly feel impossible to meet when they didn't used to. You might not have the energy to research one more solution or try one more thing that probably won't work anyway.

I spent 16 years going to doctors who told me my pain was just "painful periods." I tried everything. Switching gynecologists every year. Acupuncturists, pelvic floor specialists, nutritionists. Every diet that promised relief. And for years, things only got worse.

The hardest part wasn't the pain itself. It was the isolation, the fear, and the confusion of not knowing what was wrong with my own body. It was the depressive fog that followed each cycle. The hope I'd carry into every appointment, only to leave crying in my car because my numbers looked normal and no one could explain why I felt so terrible.
​
When I finally got my endometriosis diagnosis and had surgery, my world opened up. I realized that half the population deals with these challenges throughout their lives, and yet the support barely exists.
​
I started Half of Us Collective because I don't want anyone else to spend years feeling alone and scared in their symptoms. I can't promise a cure, but I can offer relief, companionship, and a different way forward. I've seen the lightness that comes when people finally have solutions and care.

That's what fuels this work now.

WHY WE ARE CALLED HALF OF US
Half the world's population lives with hormonal health challenges, whether from life stages like menstruation, perimenopause, and menopause, or from conditions like PCOS, PMDD, thyroid disorders, and autoimmune issues. And despite all the progress we've made toward gender equality, the research, care, and empathy available for these challenges is still decades behind.

That gap shapes how seriously symptoms get taken, how long it takes to get a diagnosis, and how much support exists when you're struggling. Half the population deserves better than being told their pain is normal or being left to figure it out on their own.

We're here to make sure they get it.
WHAT DOES WOMEN MEAN?

We use the term women+ because hormonal health doesn't fit neatly into a binary. This language acknowledges and includes people who identify as women as well as those whose gender identity falls outside traditional categories but who still experience the hormonal challenges we're here to support.

We use the word women because the people in this group have historically been dismissed, under-researched, and overlooked specifically because they were labeled as women. We care deeply about your cycle, and we’re proud to honor the gender that feels right for you.
