WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL
Personalized Nutrition
At Half of Us Collective, we excel in cutting through the noise, focusing on constructing personalized, bio-individual nutrition and lifestyle plans that are aimed at guiding women+ towards not just alleviation, but a deeper understanding and resilience against hormonal imbalances. Our goal is sustainable solutions to last years.
WHAT IS OUT OF CONTROL
Bringing Us Together
Hormonal health challenges are often faced alone, despite research showing that community can aid physical and emotional healing. To address this, we help our clients build their own supportive networks to navigate these challenges together and host free community education groups throughout the year.
Spreading Awareness
We shed light on the gender inequities in healthcare, empowering women+ with tools for self-advocacy to demand better care and understanding. We help our clients navigate this gendered healthcare system while supporting them in building a team of trusted practitioners. Our aim is to alleviate the pressure on women who may wrongly blame themselves for their hormonal health challenges.
Who's here to help me?
Lauren McTigue (she, her, hers)
Founder and CEO, NTP, RYT 500, Endo Worrier
Half of Us Collective emerged from my 16-year struggle with endometriosis, often dismissed by doctors as “painful periods.” Despite trying alternative health modalities, relief was elusive until I met a holistic nutritionist who recommended endometriosis laparoscopic surgery, marking a significant turning point.

As a Nutritional Therapist with a background in agriculture, and community development, I know that while surgery was crucial, nutritional and holistic approaches are vital in managing endometriosis. I advocate for a comprehensive approach that includes medical interventions, lifestyle adjustments, and community support.

My journey taught me about the impacts of restrictive diets, false health claims, and societal norms that minimize women+'s suffering. This highlighted the importance of community support and addressing gender inequities in medical care.

I can't promise a cure, but I can offer relief of symptoms and companionship. Together, we can navigate systemic gender inequalities, find solutions to live in peace with your body, and learn to live and heal in community.
ABOUT US
HALF of the Population
Half of the world's population (women+) faces hormonal health challenges, whether from life stages like menstruation, perimenopause, and menopause, or conditions such as autoimmune disorders, PCOS, PMDD, or thyroid issues. Despite progress in gender equality, we still lag in addressing, researching, and properly caring for hormonal health. These disparities affect the quality of care and empathy women+ receive from providers. Half of the world's population deserves better, and we are here to ensure they get it.
ABOUT US
What is "Women+"?
We care about your 28-day cycle and we honor the gender that feels right for you. Using "women+" instead of just "women" acknowledges and includes individuals who identify as women as well as those who may not fit within the traditional binary understanding of gender. We use the word women because this group of individuals collectively share hormonal challenges that are under-researched, overlooked, and uncared for DUE to their labeling as a "woman".
